This diesel irrigation pump is centrifugal with horizontal shaft, mainly handling fresh water or liquid similar to fresh water. It can work for farm sprinkler irrigation system with high pressure. There are stationary model and irrigation pump with trailer. If the total weight not over 1.5tons, the diesel engine irrigation pump can be mounted on two wheel trailer with trolley, if working weight over 1.5tons, it's better to adopt four wheel trailer.



 





2

Operations




 



2.1 Preparations before start



2.1.1 Check completely before start is necessary.Especially the connection of ground bolts,the driven units to be sure tightly.Make sure the flexible operation of the driven units and operation system.Clear all questions then start engine.



2.1.2 Check and add oil to be normal capaticy;add enough cooling water and fuel;check and clear all leakage possibly.



2.1.3 Clear air in the fuel pipeline.Loose the air draining screw on the fuel filter,push the manual fuel pump to drive air out from fuel filter and pipeline,then loose the screw on the injection pump.Check and make sure the fuel discharged without air.



2.1.4 Check and make sure the batteries fully charged.Meanwhile check the electric circuits been good connection.



2.1.5 Open the shield of the shaft connecting units,then check by levelling instrument to be sure horizontally.The difference gap of outside no more than 0.1mm,even there are 3-5mm gap at the both ends.Then tighten the shield.For the safe,do not open the shield when working to avoid injuries.



 



2.2 The start,operation,stop according the the ComAp instructions.



2.2.1 Complete preparations and clearance of questions verified,then start engine.



2.2.1.1 Pull the throttle to be bigger volume.



2.2.1.2 Click start button on the CTRL Panel.



2.2.1.3 Move the start button to "Start",when cranking speed is bigger engough,it's right time to start engine.



2.2.1.4 Each start not exceed 10s in order to protect start motor and batteries.If continuous start needed,it should happen two minuts later.If failed 3times,you should examine and clear all faults.



2.2.1.5 After start,recover the button.Put the trottle at idle position.Turn the button counter clockwise to charging position.



2.2.1.6 Five mintues running passed,check the oil pressure and level to make sure normally.Then open valves at the outlet.Although the machine start successfully,it's forbiden with full loading.The right way is,running the engine at low speed without loading for heating itself,checking the cooling water discharged to be over 60℃,then running at high speed with full loading step by step,otherwishe bad effections would happen.



2.2.1.7 Before start water pump,check the valves to be closed.The right rule is "close valves before start,close valves after stop".Check and make sure the rotating unites to be moving smoothly before start,meanwhile the priming water in the pump is right and full.



2.2.1.8 Priming water coming form High water tank,make sure full in the water pump.



2.2.1.8. After running the machine,open the valves step by step,observe discharged water.If no water,check the preparations and correct them if missed something.Reset according the above.If water discharged normally,adjust the valves to get required outflow and pressure.



 



2.2.2 Running



2.2.2.1 Although the machine start successfully,it's forbiden with full loading.The right way is,running the engine at low speed without loading for heating itself,checking the cooling water discharged to be over 60℃,then running at high speed with full loading step by step,otherwishe bad effections would happen.Special attention:After overhaul repair,no less than 60 hours running,the engine could work with full loading



2.2.2.2 During running,adjusting engine speed and loading slowly.Generally speaking,sharp speed governing as well as loading are forbidden.



2.2.2.3 During running,pay attention to the oil pressure,oil temperature,water temperature,self charging gaues.Watch color of exhaust air,listen to the sound.If abnormalities existed,stop engine,check and clear them.



2.2.2.4 During running,pay attention to the performances of fuel feeding pipeline,water pipelines' connection.If leakages existed,clear them.



2.2.2.5 The engine fuel injection pump has been well turned.Do not adjust it if not necessary.If need,it should be on the injection test laboratory.



2.2.2.6 New or overhaul repaired diesel engines,running 60 hours later, are allowed to work with full loading.



2.2.2.7 The water pump is stuffing seal.During running,pay attention to the water dropping,which is right drop by drop.If in line,please tighten the sruffing seal gasket.Long time working,the stuffing seal will wear and tear.If the gasket pushed down to the bottom even not workable,replace the stuffing seal.



2.2.2.8 During working time,the temperature of water pump bearings could not higher 35℃ than surrounding.The total temperature should not exceed 80℃.



2.2.2.9 Do not make diesel engine running at idle speed long time.



 



2.2.3 Stop machine



2.2.3.1 Before stop engine,close valves at the outlet to reduce loading for stop.



2.2.3.2 Before stop machine,unload then adjust the engine to idle speed.When cooling water reduces less than 70℃,shuffle stop engine handle.



2.2.3.3 When cooling water temperature is high,sudden stop is forbidden.



2.2.3.4 Stop by closing fuel valve is forbidden.



2.2.3.5 When surrounding temperature is low,if no antifreeze used,drain engine cooling water and water in the pump completely.



2.2.3.6 After stop engine,check de faults during workign is necessary.
